Mission

Mission Statement

Holy Family School, a faith filled community following the charism of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is enriched by a diversity of richly laden cultures. Striving to develop to the whole child, we encourage them to appreciate each other and to share their God given talents. We emphasize academic excellence, responsibility, and socialization in a safe learning environment. We recognize each student's uniqueness and encourage them to embrace the presence of God's love in their lives.

Statement of Beliefs

We Believe…

  • that the Creator has made parents the primary educators of their children, and that our school works in partnership with them.

  • that all children can learn and should experience success.

  • that education should be well-rounded, help students discover their talents and equip them to achieve their maximum potential.

  • that facts alone cannot educate, but equally important, values and example.

  • that school should promote, not only the acquisition of knowledge, but also the formation of personal values such as self-motivation and discipline, respect for self and others, and responsibility for one’s actions.

  • that through our appreciation of cultural diversity, our students will come to a greater respect of their cultural heritage as well as that of others.

    Social

  • To value each person, treating everyone with dignity and respect and extending to them acts of common courtesy, manners and kindness.

  • To treasure the diversity of cultures and the unique qualities of each person.

  • To integrate skills of conflict resolution, anger management, and empathy training into all areas of school life.

    Educational Quality

  • To foster academic achievement, particularly in the areas of Language Arts and Math.

  • To prepare students and staff to take their place with confidence in a technological society.

  •  To strengthen family involvement in the life of the school.

  •  To provide staff development opportunities that would keep faculty and staff current on new advances in education.
